The second head was disappointed at the first head’s decision because the first head did not give the second to taste the fruit the first head was praising so much.

Answer:
The second head was waiting for a chance to take revenge. One day the second head found a poisonous fruit. He told the first head that he is going to eat it to avenge his insult. The second head ate it in spite of the warning from the first head that they both will die if he eats it. The second head ignored it and ate. In the end both of them died.

Brahmadatta listened to his mother’s advice and put the crab into a camphor box, took the box in a vessel and set out on his journey. The boy was resting under a big tree. He had kept the box in which he had put the crab near him while sleeping.

Suvarnasiddhi and Chakradhara Summary in English

This story was told by Suvarnasiddhi to Chakradhara. Once a strange lord named Berunda lived on the banks of a lake called sangama. It had two heads and a single body. One day while it was wandering on the banks of the lake it found a delicious fruit as delicious as Ambrosa. The first had said that fruit must have been sent by heaven and it was lucky to get it.

The second head wanted to taste this fruit after hearing its taste. The first head laughed and told both had the same stomach and it did not matter who ate it. The first head wanted to give it to his wife the second head was disappointed and was waiting to take revenge on it.
Another day second head found a poisonous fruit and told the first head that you entrustworthy fellow.

Thet he was going to eat the poisonous fruit to take revenge of his insult. The first told head if the eat the both would die. Ignoring its warning the second head ate and both of them died. After listening to the story Chakradhara told his friend that he should not go home alone. He gave the reason in the form of a story.

The story went like that once a boy named Brahmadatta lived in a city with his old mother. He was planning to travel to a village. When he told that his mother advised him not to travel alone. She went to the well in the backyard and took out a crab and gave it to her son. He put in a campher box, put the box in a vessel and started his journey, the day was hot and he took rest under a big tree.

From the hollow of the tree a snake came out attracted by the smell of camphor. It swallowed the box containing crab. The crab came out of the box and killed the snake. When the boy woke up he saw’ the dead snake and open camphor box. Now he realised his mothers advice to take some-thing as his companion Chakradhara concluded his story’ by telling that it is important to always have a companion.
