How have we made our life “poor”, according to the poet?
Answer:
Man has been leading a mechanical life. He has scheduled his life with his daily busywork that he finds no time to look around the beautiful world and relax. During leisure, he is so tired that he finds solace by sleeping rather than doing activities that may boost his thinking. Hence the poet described our life as ‘poor’.
