Question 2.
Can you find two integers m and n such that 2m+“ = 2m”?
Answer:
m + n = mn
2 + 2 = 2 x 2
4 = 4
∴ m = 2 & n = 2

Question 3.
If (2m)4 = 46 find the value of m.
Answer:
(2m)4 = 46 (am)n = amn
(2m)4 = 46
(2m)4 = (22)6
2m × 4 = 22 × 6
24m = 212
∴ 4m = 12
m = \(\frac { 12 }{ 4 }\)
m = 3
