In this poem, the Poet emphasizes the qualities of kindness and generosity which will lead us to happiness in life. One night, a stranger came to Yussouf’s tent and told him that he was an outcast. He asked Yussouf to provide shelter and food. Yussouf believes that everything belongs to God, not to individuals. He offered his home to a complete stranger. He shared everything in the home. He treated the stranger well.

He also offered his fastest horse and some gold to the stranger to escape from the enemy and to live on. The stranger was overwhelmed by this kindness and admited that he was Ibrahim who had killed Yossuf’s son.

Yussouf offered him additional gold instead of getting angry. Yussouf thanked the stranger for making him give up the thought of avenging his son’s death.
