What were the consequences of religious reformation?

The consequences of religious reformations were :

Constantinople was conquered by Turks . in 1453 A.D. They closed the sea route and the land route between the east and west to the Europeans Inevitably the Europeans tried to discover a new sea route to eastern countries.

Spain and Portugal were very ambitious to compete in sea trade with the Turks. The Europeans were basically adventurous. The invention of Mariner’s compass and Astrolabe equipment that helped the sailors to undertake voyages.

The Christian missionaries were very much interested to spread their religion in newfound countries. The European countries were badly in need of Indian spices, Chinese silk, and other materials. So they went for geographical explorations.

Boccaccio, Dante, Chaucer, Cervantes, Thomas More, William Shakespeare and many other writers of this period enriched the literature in different languages of Europe.
